“Spiritual Benefits of Journaling”

  • A presentation designed to help women utilize Bible reading and journaling in order to deepen and strengthen faith.
  • Attention paid to the practice of lectio divina, a deliberate and intentional way to read the Bible slowly.

School Presentations include:

“Building Sensational Stories”

  • For all ages, best for second grade and up
  • Basic presentation regarding the building blocks of fiction, including setting, character, plot, conflict, etc.,

“How an Idea Becomes a Book”

  • For all ages; can be adjusted for pre-readers 
  • Presentation about where ideas for stories come from, using examples and many visual aids

“It’s Springtime!”

  • Story time presentation appropriate for preschoolers and pre-readers; 
  • Focuses on changes in springtime; 
  • Introduces Julie’s book, Cheep! Cheep!
